Here at Indicium we’re proud of our reputation, both in the IT community and across the wider markets in which we operate.  We know that a good reputation is hard to come by - and even harder to keep - so we always try to act in a way which does credit to our good name.

We also recognise that we wouldn’t have come as far as we have without the help of the huge network of people and places around us, so we try to ensure we look after our clients, our people, our communities, the environment and every corner of our business operations in a way which makes us proud.

Looking after our clients

Our relationships with our clients are based on trust, mutual respect, loyalty and cooperation. We work with clients in a collaborative way, which fosters meaningful, long-term relationships.

Looking after the community

Our community initiatives play an important part in our company identity, and what our people believe in. 

We provide financial assistance to a number of non-profit organisations, including Global Ethics Australia and The Starlight Foundation. We actively encourage our staff to participate in community events, both locally and further afield. We also provide technology solutions to a number of not-for-profit organisations here in Australia.

Because we believe in planting seeds for the future, we work with the University of Technology Sydney’s student development programs. We get a real buzz out of the difference these programs make to the aspirations and achievements of the students.

We know that we’d be nowhere without our people, so we put a lot of effort into programs and policies to help us achieve flexible and family-friendly working conditions. We’re committed to the ongoing development of our team, as well as promoting equal opportunity - and this shows in everything we do.

Looking after the environment

Like most businesses, we know we’ve still got a long way to go before we can say we’re 100% sustainable. But we’re doing what we can to make a difference. This includes using recycled or recyclable materials wherever we can, cutting down on and recycling waste, conserving water, encouraging electronic communication and saving energy (this includes simple things like ensuring our IT systems are powered down when they’re not in use), and thinking about how products will be disposed of before we decide to buy them, or advise our clients to do so.
